On 28 November, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Environment of the Slovak Republic Tomáš Taraba and the Italian Ambassador Gianclemente De Felice, the contract signing ceremony took place between Cimolai Technology, an Italian company specialising in the construction of structures for civil and industrial buildings and for the shipbuilding industry, with Vodohospodárska Výstavba for the design, production and delivery of two cranes as part of the works for the modernisation of the Gabcikovo aqueduct and the operation of the hydroelectric power plant located there.
A contract worth about 13 million euro, and for which Ambassador De Felice expressed his appreciation, emphasising its value as an important achievement for an Italian company with high technological content in the infrastructure sector.
